A bicycle tour which is of regional as well as of historically interest. We turn into Pörtschach on the main street to the Landesstrasse and from there into the direction of Moosburg/Feldkirchen. After we have crossed the rails, we go under the highway to the high plateau near Moosburg.
When we have reached the plateau, we go on the federal highway through Pörtschach Rennweg to Stallhofen. Directly in the steep right turn we leave the federal highway and drive on the left to the golf course, into the direction of" Lilo Kerzen". Now the golf course to the right we go on the grit way slighly uphill to Knasweg. After the deer enclosure we will rach the the small place Knasweg. The next way will lead us to the Feldkirchner Bundesstrasse which we cross straight ahead. Attention: partly strong traffic!.
After Micheldorf it goes back through a small idyllic forest to Nasweg. In the depression we drive on the right to the direction of Klein St. Veit which we will already see on a hill. After 700 m we leave Landesstrasse again and go on the right to the direction of Moosburg/Tigring. Again we will see the beautiful landscape with the Tigringer See and the Karawanken. Very fit ones can drive to Tigrin where you can see the roman church St. Egid, with late-Gothic font and a splendid high altar which stands since the year 1650.
Further more we will find here a piece of street with rail grooves, not far of it two Roman roads crossed here. After a short rest we go through St. Peter to Moosburg, a place with history you should visit. Passing the golf course we go back again to Pörtschach.
